In our traditional house, you can expect sophisticated cuisine, characterized by regional products and provided with refined taste-combinatorial nuances. Our chef Erik Schröter consistently implements his ambitious cooking philosophy on the menu of the house, which he puts under the motto: “Nature et passion du jardin – nature and passion of the garden”.
As a result, you can enjoy dishes and menus in our restaurant that are shaped by the rhythm of the seasons and bring high-quality products from predominantly regional suppliers to the table. This also includes wild herbs, old vegetables and edible flowers from the in-house garden, which are masterfully created to showcase the dried, pickled, marinated or dehydrated dishes.
The regional producers and suppliers for our kitchen include: BrunnerEichof in Aarberg, Lindenhof in Sutz-Lattrigen, Laubscherhof in Gerolfingen, Fischer Dubler from Lüscherz, who the Delicious delicacies from the Three Lakes region are brought into the house, as well as high-quality Angus beef and other products from Schumacher’s organic farm on St. Petersinsel.
